Ready.....Set.....BUY! Right? Well.....not quite. Being ready to buy and being prepared are two completely different things. Whether you are purchasing your first home, your vacation home, retirement home or anything in between, you need to have an experienced lender on your side. Unless you have cash you can't buy a home without a loan so choose a lender you work well with. How do you find one? Start with your local bank or credit union but be sure to "shop" rates and programs. You want to be sure that you are getting the best monthly payment possible with the lowest closing costs.
